What is Lotería?
Lotería is a beloved traditional board game in Latin America, similar to bingo, where players match colorful picture cards as they are called out, creating a fun and familiar moment of connection.
A caller shuffles the deck, draws one card at a time, and announces it. Players mark the matching image on their tabla with beans, chips, or another marker. The first player to complete their board wins by shouting “¡Lotería!”
The Frankly Lotería honors this tradition while adding a new twist: our deck features some of the traditional lotería icons as well as unique cards designed to support shared language between schools and families.
